Paid downloads plugin easily allows to sell any digital content. The plugin automatically delivers the product (temporary encrypted download link) to customer after completed payment done via PayPal, Payza\/AlertPay or InterKassa. (If you also wish to accept Authorize.Net, 2Checkout, Skrill\/Moneyboookers, EgoPay and Liberty Reserve, please try Paid Downloads Pro<\/a>.) Just upload files and insert shortcodes like [paiddownloads id=\u201dXXX\u201d] into your posts or pages.<\/p>\n

Using the plugin<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Install and activate the plugin like you do with any other plugins. Once activated, it will create a menu \u201cPDownloads\u201d in left side column in the admin area.<\/li>\n
  2. Click left side menu \u201cPDownloads >>> Settings\u201d and do required settings. Set your PayPal ID, AlertPay ID, InterKassa parameters, e-mail address for notifications, e-mail templates for success and failed payments, download link lifetime, etc. You also can customize \u201cBuy Now\u201d button.<\/li>\n
  3. Click left side menu \u201cPDownloads >>> Files\u201d and upload the files that you would like to sell. In this section you also can set the price for your files, view all payment transactions, generate and view temporary download links. You also can upload large files through FTP-connection (upload them to folder \/\/www\/wwwroot\/img.feibisi.com\/paid-downloads\/files\/<\/em>) and assign them in this section.<\/li>\n
  4. Once file uploaded look at column \u201cShort Code\u201d. This is short code which you can insert into your posts or pages. The short code is like that: [paiddownloads id=\u201dXXX\u201d] (XXX \u2013 is an ID of file). You also can extend this short code by adding return_url parameter. For example, if you wish to redirect your customers to \u201chttp:\/\/www.website.com\/thank-you.html\u201d page after successfull payment, just insert the following short code: [paiddownloads id=\u201dXXX\u201d return_url=\u201dhttp:\/\/www.website.com\/thank-you.html\u201d].<\/li>\n
  5. Go to any post\/page edit page and insert short code there. This short code is replaced by \u201cBuy Now\u201d button automatically (or by download link if the price is 0.00).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The workflow at front-end<\/strong><\/p>\n

    If user decides to purchase your digital product, he\/she can select desired payment method and click \u201cBuy now\u201d button. After that the user will be redirected to PayPal, Payza\/AlertPay or InterKassa website to do the payment. After payment was done (completed and cleared), the user receives download link which is valid 2 days (period of validity is defined by administrator). Download link is sent to user\u2019s PayPal or Payza\/AlertPay e-mail. If user paid with InterKassa, download link is sent to e-mail entered during payment procedure.<\/p>\n
