WP Partner Watcher Intro<\/strong><\/p>\n

WP Partner Watcher is a WordPress plugin which monitors your link partners\u2019 sites for certain certain keywords to protect your online reputation.<\/p>\n

Why is it so important to do that monitoring ?
\nIt is very important because when you exchange links you want to make sure you are linking to a good partner.
\nFor example: if your link partner starts promoting pharmaceutic products, torrents or other illegal stuff this may and will affect your online reputation and you could
\nget banned from affiliate programs, contextual ad services just because you were linking to a bad guy.<\/p>\n

This plugin is designed to alert you if a given URL starts containing certain (bad) keywords.<\/p>\n

It is like having a personal Google Alert system.<\/p>\n

If you not familiar with Google Alert basically you can set it up so when somebody mentiones your company\/site in an article you\u2019ll get an email with a link to it and you can repond.<\/p>\n

\n1. Unzip the file
\n1. Login into WP Admin > Plugins > Add New and click Upload<\/p>\n

Configuration<\/strong>
\n1.Add some keywords.
\n1.Add partners
\n1.Activate the plugin.<\/p>\n

The plugin will run close to midnight every day.
\nYou will get alerts only if the checked links contain more than 3 keywords.
\nDepending on the threashold. You can later access the reports from the reports navigation link and choose the date of the report.<\/p>\n
