Snapplify Single Sign On allows for OAuth authentication by WordPress Admin Users as well as OAuth authentication and registration by WordPress Subscriber Users and WooCommerce Customer Users.
External Services
This plugin relies on the Snapplify Auth API to authenticate and manage user sessions.
- Service: Snapplify Access OAuth 2.0 API (https://auth.snapplify.com)
- Purpose: To authenticate WordPress users against Snapplify user accounts via OAuth 2.0.
- Data Sent: The user』s browser is redirected to Snapplify』s login server. During login, authentication codes are exchanged securely with Snapplify. No passwords or sensitive credentials are stored or shared by the plugin.
- Data Received: The plugin receives an access token and basic user profile data (e.g. full name, email address, username, account ID, profile picture, authorities), which is stored in the WordPress user profile for account linkage.
